George A. MacBlane
George A. MacBlane, 79, of Savannah, GA went to be with the Lord, April 27, 2012 at Riverview Health and Rehabilitation Center, under the care of Hospice of Savannah. Born January 1, 1933 in East Taylor Township, PA and lived in East Conemaugh, PA for most of his life before moving to Savannah in May 2010 to live with his daughter.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Zelda Snyder MacBlane; brother, Robert, Jr; and infant sister.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mary Jane McCall MacBlane; daughters, Shannon C., wife of Charles Tyner; and Jamie A., wife of Hayder Camargo of West Orange, N.J.; grandsons, Stephen Tyner and Conner Camargo, great-granddaughters, Mary Kate Tyner and Nora Tyner; sister, Delores, wife of Vincent LaMantia, of Ebensburg, PA, niece, Jean Ann Kazimer, and nephew, Mark LaMantia.
He was a retired worker of Bethlehem Steel Corporation, Johnstown, PA and an active member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Nanty Glo, PA for over 25 years.
A Private Service will be held at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
